We all worked together to make as close to a perfect map about the classroom as possible. We had to measure table to table to make it perfect. The teacher split us into groups of four. We each got equipment to measure the tables to a perfect size to suite the map onto the paper and we also had to shrink the classroom six times to fit it on the map. We used the math that we know to make the map the right size for the paper.
For example the room was one thousand centimetres long and the width was eight-hundred seventy-five centimetres wide. We divided all the measurements by 6 to make them fit on the plan.
We also made a key so the people who look at the map can understand it.
